Characters.
Characters are usually easily identifiable and often represent the stereotypical characteristics in which are presented through media language.
Story lines.
All TV Dramas that we watch are told through a story line. The story line usually relate to the audience by using everyday problems and dramas that fill the public's lives. The story's usually escalate from equilibrium to dis equilibrium and sometimes back to equilibrium again leaving the viewers with a happy ending.
Sound and Music.
Music is used a lot in TV Dramas to reflect a particular mood that a character may be feeling. It can be used to create a bad atmosphere in a certain situation to build suspense. It can also be used to create a good atmosphere in which would build characters up to a high point. Ambient sounds are used to emphasise certain plots and events that are present the drama.

Deconstruction of Eastenders.
The camera shots that were used were mainly medium shots, occasional close ups and over the shoulder shots in which were relatively slow to create realism. Panning shots and tracking shots were used to emphasize certain objects and characters that were of an importance in the scene. I found that there were no effects and there was a medium pace through this scene. There was back ground sound to create verisimilitude and music to create emotions of anger and sadness when characters would have an argument. There was no props used in the scene and there was no particular costumes used. Very low lighting was used to symbolize that it was night and to create a tense atmosphere when the characters were in an argument the low lighting signifies secrecy and privacy.
